Gregory Hansen
A second-generation financial advisor, I began my financial services career in 1997 after earning a college degree in Applied Mathematics (Business minor.) I’ve found the analytical problem-solving skills I honed while studying math to be tremendously beneficial in the financial world. I currently hold FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses through LPL Financial, as well as life and health insurance licenses in a number of states. I find great satisfaction in helping clients to understand complex financial topics and products, and then make sound, informed financial decisions.
When I’m not helping clients strive to succeed, I enjoy backpacking and bicycle touring in the Pacific Northwest, playing the guitar, and volunteering at my church. My wife Margaret and I are parents of four wonderful children.

I’ve been a client services associate since 2000, after graduating Magna cum laude from Linfield College with a business management degree. I enjoy helping clients and have learned that long-term success begins with strong relationships of trust.
I see my role as a teacher. I believe in simplifying complex things. I believe in being reliable and accessible. I also believe the best clients are referred by others who have seen and appreciate these traits in me.
As my wife would truthfully tell you, I do not excel at home repair, auto mechanics, and gardening! But I love road trips with my family, hiking, cycling, and backpacking - I love to get outdoors. I enjoy coaching youth soccer two seasons per year and watching these young leaders learn communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Rachel and I have four children spread in age from middle school to newlywed, and time spent with them is a priority in my life. I love how my role as a client services associate gives me the flexibility to work around life’s important events.
Thanks for your trust, and for the opportunity to go to work for you!

Financial services is a family tradition! I’m Greg Hansen’s son and assistant. I graduated from Brigham Young University in April of 2022, majoring in Economics and minoring in Business. I joined Generations Financial Partners the day after graduation as an Operations Manager. I hold FINRA Series 7 and 63 Securities licenses through LPL Financial. I’m also licensed in Oregon for life and health insurance. I’m a Spanish speaker, having lived in South America for a couple of years.
I love the ocean, books, astronomy, and European cars, but I especially love my wife, Diana. I grew up here in Oregon and I love the Oregon Ducks. Diana and I look forward to living in Oregon and raising our family here.

I am happy to be working in our family business. I started my college studies at the University of Oregon and finished at Brigham Young University with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught for ten years in Eugene before pivoting to become an administrative assistant at Generations Financial Partners. I have an attention to detail from my background as an educator which translates well to the work I do every day. I value strong relationships with our clients and have enjoyed getting to know each of them. I reach out to clients to help schedule appointments and check in with them. Since we are a family business, I make every effort to treat our clients like family.
My husband Greg and I have four children and have found great joy in raising them in Eugene. Nothing is better than spending time with my family. When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, good food, playing pickleball, and watching Oregon college basketball.
